Kids are great candidates for 70s Disco Costumes, they are so cute in them!  It’s a fun theme as most children really love to dance, just put on “Disco Inferno” and see what happens!

Disco looks began in the 1970s, and history tells that the fashion was adapted from modern dance wear that was often created from spandex.  Shiny disco pants teamed with stretchy sequin tops were the in thing.

The other type I like is the leisure suit, you can find these in all sorts of colors too, from purple to lime green.  These costumes are great fun and remind me of Starsky and Hutch, it’s a good one to wear if you like to hang out around the bar chatting with friends, rather than on the dance floor, as the image it gives is cool and laid back.
